7 Ways to Love Your Body at Every Stage

Don’t waste another day criticizing your body! Instead, embrace these seven ways to LOVE your body at every stage, age, size, and shape.

Here’s how to find health and happiness in the beautiful skin you’re in!

#1: Invest in clothes that fit and flatter

Nobody feels good in clothes that pinch or pull, sag or drag. Begin replacing your ill-fitting garments with items you love to wear and be seen in! Start with a comfortable MINDD bra, bodysuit, and panties, then work your way out—pants, tops, and more!

You’ll be amazed by how good you feel when your clothes fit!

#2: Say NO to media that drags you down

Magazines, movies, TV shows, social media: step away from content that makes you question your value. Unsubscribe, unfollow, turn it off!

Instead, surround yourself with content that reminds you that you are worthy of love and happiness exactly as you are right now, and every day for the rest of your life.

#3: Get your body moving

When you boost your brain’s dopamine, oxytocin, serotonin, and endorphins, you feel better in your body. The good news? You don’t even need to squeeze into a sports bra to enjoy the benefits of quick, simple movements like these:

  • Shake your booty to your favorite song with a three-minute dance break
  • Play fetch with your pet or play Twister with your kiddo
  • Stroll through the park while listening to a podcast
  • Stretch your arms from the sky to your toes as you wait for your coffee to brew

#4: Eat something delicious and nutritious

Not only is food delicious, but it plays a key role in how you feel and function. Nutrient-rich foods are great for your energy, outlook, and overall health. And when you prioritize foods that make your body feel good, you’ll also feel good about your body. (In other words, avoid foods that irritate your tummy or inflame your skin. Every body is different, so pay attention to the foods that work for you.)

#5: Ditch the scale

Scales do a great job of tracking weight changes, but they don’t tell you anything about how strong you are, how nutritious your last meal was, or how much you’re LOVEDD. There is literally no reason to weigh yourself every day, so stuff that scale in your closet and limit your weigh-ins to once per week—or less.

#6: Prioritize your mental health

Everyone needs mental health support at some point in their life, just like everyone needs to see a medical doctor from time to time. If you feel yourself sinking especially low, don’t wait; get in touch with a therapist or counselor who can help you establish healthy strategies for healing.

#7: Spend time with people who love you

There’s almost nothing as healing as sharing time with someone who loves you for exactly who you are. Prioritize relationships with people who make you laugh, listen to your dreams, support your goals, and empathize with your emotions.

After all, there’s nothing more beautiful than joy!
